Aruba has an overpopulation of dogs, cats, kittens & puppies on the Island and a lack of affordable vet care for spaying, neutering, vaccinations and their general health. There is very little education for the Island’s permanent residents on the need for sterilization and pet care. Animals are discarded, abused, starved and abandoned; some are poisoned. Your purchase will help immensely.
One Love’s primary goal is to raise funds to assist various local rescue organizations provide food, vet care, shelter, spay and neuter, etc. to dogs and cats in need.
One Love also helps fund Freedom Flights for the young ones. Once a dog is too big, it can no longer escape Aruba. But the puppies and kittens can. Consider becoming a Flight Angel. Contact any Rescue listed on the One Love Website and register. When you have your flight Itinerary, contact your Rescue way in advance and fly home with a puppy or kittten in a carrying case provided you. All paperwork is also provided, therefore, being a Flight Angel is totally free for you. You are but a Chaparone. Each Adult in the family can Chaparone a pet on the flight to freedom. At the destination airport, you will be met by a Foster, Rescue Representative or the actual Adoptive Parents where you turn your pet over to them and go on your way knowing that you just saved a life.
